Dear friends living in Singapore, hello, I am the newly-arrived Ambassador of France to Singapore. I am very happy and honored to contribute to the strengthening of relations between France and Singapore. Our two countries have enjoyed very close and trustful ties for more than 50 years. Our strategic partnership has been fast growing since 2012 in every aspect: political, economic, defence and cultural. I wish to continue to work with you in enhancing our exchange of ideas in the innovation area which is vital for our two countries. We can learn a lot from each other in fields of cutting-edge science and technology. I am looking forward to meeting you in our various events and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy Year of the Rooster which will undoubtedly be a very important year for our two countries, especially with the upcoming visit to Singapore by the French President François Hollande at the end of March.
