Established in 1979, the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore is a self-financed, non-profit organisation that supports businesses in their development. We assist companies at every stage of their project in Singapore and the region, from their first approach of the market to the implementation of their projects, and the growth of their business in Asia.
With over 750 member companies, of which the majority covers South East Asia and the larger Asia Pacific (APAC) region, our team can rely on a network of experts and valuable contacts to help French companies approach the Asian market.
We accelerate our members’ businesses through this extremely dynamic network and understanding of markets in the region.
Through 17 Sectorial and Functional Committees, we organise over 220 events throughout the year, from roundtables and conferences with industry principals and domain experts to networking. This platform of events facilitates the exchange of targeted information and best practices among the business community, as well as the sharing of insights on regional business opportunities.
Our 10 specialized business Clubs and collaborative projects (So Chic, Smart-Health, French Lab) gather members from the same function or industry to develop synergies, collaborations and exchange on common issues while promoting French expertise and facilitating engagement in Singapore.
Our platform for Start-ups and Entrepreneurs: we support and help them grow via a wide range of free dedicated programmes such as our Mentoring and Business Accelerator Lab programmes, targeted workshops and the French Investors Network.
Our Franco-Singaporean business community is the indispensable professional network for business development to expand in Singapore and South East Asia. Our support is based on trust with our local and regional networks (including other French Chambers of Commerce (CCI and Team France Export), notably in the ASEAN and larger APAC region.
We continue to offer a full range of services: commercial support, the establishment of subsidiaries, business set-up, the establishment of representative offices, applications for visas and work permits, and accommodation of employees in the French Chamber office space. This infrastructure helps largely the VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) integration; start-ups and entrepreneurs are strongly supported, SMEs and large groups appreciate having interlocutors of the same culture with a strong expertise to implement their subsidiaries and we help them accelerate their projects with confidence.
Our Business Centre “The Booster” offers 40 workspace solutions (open space and closed offices). Numerous social events and communication tools facilitate greater visibility for our members, while offering a friendly and professional working environment.
Finally, especially appreciated by businesses and jobseekers, our HR department operates as a recruitment firm, managing more than 200 job matches per year.
