Visit by a French Business Confederation (MEDEF) delegation to Singapore [fr]
A Movement of French Enterprises (MEDEF) delegation comprised of 35 French companies and led by its president Pierre Gattaz visited Singapore on 23rd and 24th February. French-Singapore Business Club Chairman Arnaud Vaissié and Special Representative for ASEAN countries to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Philippe Varin were part of this delegation.
France has a dense and international entrepreneurial network that is particularly thriving in Singapore. This visit forms part of an intense strengthening of our bilateral economic relationship, consolidates our position in the city state and facilitates the growth of new business opportunities.
A meeting with representatives of French companies based in Singapore and journalists was organized at the Residence ofFrance. The delegation also visited the ESSEC Business School campus in Singapore and attended several presentations on pedagogical innovation and geopolitics. Mr. Pierre Gattaz also met with Mr. Lim Hng Kiang, Minister forTrade and Industry (Trade) in Singapore. Finally, in the perspective of French President of the Republic Francçois Hollande state visit to Singapore at the end of March, the delegation met with members of the Singapore Business Federation and the Economic Development Board.
