Visit by Ambassador Laurence Tubiana [fr]
Laurence Tubiana, Ambassador for international climate negotiations and climate "champion", visited Singapore from 9 to 11 July.
Mrs Tubiana talked with Ambassadors-at-large for Minister of foreign affairs, Professors Tommy Koh and Chan Heng Chee, during a meeting held by Ambassador Kwok Fook Seng, Chief negociator for climate issues.
Then, she visited the port of Singapore during a tour organized by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
On Monday 11 July, she attended the joint World Cities Summit/Singapore International Water Week/Clean Enviro Summit. During the joint opening plenary session, she talked about "Partnerships and Collaborations". After which, she had lunch with Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for environment and water ressources.
She also gave an interview to the Straits Times published 12 July, and she met with Teo Chee Hean, vice-Prime Minister and chairman of the interministerial comity on climate change.
Finally, Ambassador Tubiana had dinner with Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for foreign affairs.
