Visa for French overseas territories [fr]
FRENCH OVERSEAS TERRITORIES AND FRENCH OVERSEAS COLLECTIVITIES
Valid for Overseas territories or Overseas collectivities only
You must apply at the Consulate of France in person.
The Consular Administration has the full authority to evaluate and request for more documents than those submitted by the applicant. Submitting the following documents, while required, does not guarantee the issuance of a visa. Also note that the visa does not in itself grant you the right to enter a French or Schengen territory. It is necessary that you carry with you, at all times, the original documents used to obtain the visa.
The French Overseas territories are; French Guiana, Martinique, Guadeloupe, St. Martin, St. Barthelemy, Reunion Island. (Where are they located?)
The French Overseas collectivities are; French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea, Marquesas Islands), St. Pierre & Miquelon, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Wallis & Futuna. (Where are they located?)
Citizens of countries who are required to obtain a visa for Schengen States also require a visa for the Overseas territories and Overseas collectivities.
The following nationalities, exempted from the Schengen Visa, however, do require a visa for Overseas territories and Overseas collectivities;
