Opening Weekend of Voilah! 2016 Festival
The Voilah! French Festival in Singapore, which will present over seven weeks the best of French creativity and innovation in culture, science and gastronomy, started on Friday 15 April. On this occasion, the Luminéoles were deployed around Marina Bay Sands throughout the evening. Passersby were able to admire this magnificent aerial ballet designed by the French company Porté par le vent.
On Saturday, these huge flying creatures gracefully danced around the metal trees of Gardens by the Bay to the delight of spectators. People were also able to enjoy the free photo exhibition of Franck Vogel on Transboundary Rivers.
To end the weekend in style, several hundred people gathered in the Botanic Gardens to share a gourmet picnic and enjoyed the martial arts show of Zhaoxia Ding and the classical music concert led by Amaury Coeytaux.
