Night encounters with Emmanuel Guillaud

Emmanuel Guillaud, French photographer, will display his photographic installation "Until the sun rises" during the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2011. It comprises of projected images taken in fringe areas that, at night, become a theatre of shadows, searching and endlessly waiting.

Until the sun rises was shot mostly in Tokyo but the artist has continued this exploration in Singapore, with photographs taken locally included in the installation. Fragments of reality will be reused, rearranged in a piece opened to the viewer’s own imagination and mental projections.
