« Le Monde – Smart Cities » Innovation Awards [fr]


After its successful first edition in Lyon and Paris, the publishing company Le Monde organises an international competition to reward innovative solutions for improving urban life, entitled Global Le Monde – Smart Cities Innovation Awards 2017.

In this frame, a one day conference dedicated to innovation and smart cities in Singapore took place on 2nd June at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of Singapore, with the participation of engineers, sociologists, public managers and professors from all over the world.

In partnership with Straits Times, the Embassy of France to Singapore and Business France, and in the presence of Singapore Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, this special day was also the occasion to reward the most innovative projects in different categories (Urban Innovation, Civic Engagement, Habitat, Mobility, Energy and Cultural Action).
