On 21st March, INNOV’Nations gathered leading innovators in Singapore who shared their vision on how we are reinventing our nations and solving future challenges. An event supported by ENGIE, French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Startup SG, UnaBiz Singapore and

2018 is a year where collaboration between France and Singapore around innovation has never been so strong with the France-Singapore Year of Innovation.

To celebrate the commitment of our nations towards smart and sustainable living, and to take the conversation one step further, the speakers took turn in a rotating panel to share their vision on how we are reinventing our nations and solving future challenges.

INNOV’Nations, co-hosted by the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, ENGIE, Startup SG, UnaBiz Singapore & offered an insightful and interactive conference, with Dr Beh Swan Gin (Chairman of Singapore Economic Development Board - EDB), M. Khoo Teng Chye, Executive Director, Centre for Liveable Cities, French Ambassador Marc Abensour, Isabelle Kocher (CEO of ENGIE) as guests of honor. Also on the panel, inspiring speakers like Sandra Marichal, Founder of Up2degrees, Edward Chen, Co-Founder of oBike and Henri Bong, Ceo of UnaBiz Singapore and Taras Wankewycz, Founder of H3 Dynamics.

French Ambassador Marc Abensour said in his closing remarks "Let’s keep building synergies and bridges between France and Singapore."

The event concluded with a networking cocktail, during which a range of innovators also showcased the concepts they’re working on.

INNOV’Nations took place at Lyf@SMU which is a collaboration between SMU and The Ascott Limited. It is a unique first-of-its-kind ’living lab’ collaboration in a creative learning space.
