Launched by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development, Mr Laurent Fabius, on 26 November 2014 at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and developed by Campus France, this project is aimed at linking foreign students who have studied in France.
This platform will enable them to discuss among themselves, to be connected with our Embassies, our higher education establishments and our companies and, more generally, to maintain a link with France. This platform will be organised around a central site and local sites managed by Campus France and the respective Embassies.
All the links will be interconnected, which will provide a directory of former foreign students in France.
In Singapore, this platform aims to be a facilitation tool for our networks of former students in France and, more generally, for our attractivity policy, economic diplomacy and diplomacy of influence.
This site will comprise, beyond the content made available by Campus France, texts, services and pages for our partners. Cultural, touristic and economic content will also be offered on the platform.
In particular, the companies can put their profile online, post job offers and internships, perform targetted research on former students, offer promotions, sales, liven up communities.
The official launch of the Singapore site will take place on 14 January 2016 in the presence of major partners involved, first of all the associations of former students, including the French Alumni, which will celebrate their 35th anniversary, and several former students from all generations.
A dinner has been organised on 16 October to celebrate the anniversary of the French Alumni association.
