A look back on Singapore-France Innovation Forum [fr]
The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star) and the Embassy of France jointly organized the Singapore-France Innovation Forum on 27th March, officially opened by French President Hollande and Deputy Prime Minister Tharman.
Numerous events were held throughout the morning. French President François Hollande and French Ambassador Marc Abensour met with French companies and institutions that have set up R&D units in Singapore (IPAL, Thalès, L’Oréal, Dassault...). A high-level panel with experts from Singapore and France discussed pertinent issues involving innovative sectors such as smart cities, health, fintech and new technologies.
10 agreements were also inked between French and Singaporean companies and institutions in areas such as research, energy, education, space and smart city. A lunch networking session open to the more than 500 attendees concluded the forum.
