On the 24th and 25th of January a large French delegation attends the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue Sherpa Meeting, formerly known as the Fullerton Forum. The IISS Shangri-La Dialogue Sherpa Meeting is an important forum where high-level debates discussing Asia-Pacific security challenges among defence and security officials are held.

On this occasion, Captain Ludovic Poitou discussed more specifically maritime security issues in the Indo-Pacific.

The meeting supports the Shangri-La Dialogue Summit which is the annual meeting of senior officials, high-ranking military officers and non-governmental experts from around the Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America. This year, the summit will take place in Singapore on 10–12 June 2022.
